Step 1: Download and Open the App

• Download the Grogo app from the Play Store.

• Open the app.

Step 2: Sign Up

• Tap Sign up 

• Fill in your name, email and create a password.

• Tap Continue.

Step 3: Create a Parent PIN

• Set up a parent PIN to access settings and manage screen time controls.

Step 4: Add and Set Up a Child Profile

• Enter your child’s name and tap Continue.

• Select their grade level and subjects for questions during Grogo breaks.

• Scroll down and tap Next.

Step 5: Set Up Screen Time Management

Grogo needs specific permissions to manage your child’s screen time effectively.

Set Up the Device

• From the parent or child profile, tap SET UP THIS DEVICE.

• Tap Continue.

Grant Display Over Apps Permission

• Tap Continue to proceed to the "Display Over Apps" settings.

• Scroll down to the "Appear on top" list and toggle Grogo ON.

• Scroll to the top and tap the back arrow to return to the setup flow.

Grant Usage Access

• Tap Continue to proceed to the "Usage Access" settings.

• Scroll down the list and toggle Grogo ON.

Select Apps to Manage

• Tap Continue to select app categories or specific apps that will be interrupted by Grogo breaks.

• Tap Next when done.

Set App Time Limits

• Choose a time limit for how long your child can use selected apps before a Grogo break begins (15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes).

• Tap Continue.

Grogo is now set up on the device. Use the Child Profile to activate breaks or the Parent Profile to view statistics, manage the device, or adjust account settings.
